Every individual has creativity within them and has the ability to explore music and express through music; they only need the opportunity to flourish and to be encouraged. Everyone deserves their chance to engage in the arts, to express and create. A modern tuition, for the modern musician.'

About Daniel's Tutoring
Interactive, fun, educational, and engaging, supported by real-world experiences and projects, rather than just theory — all lessons are designed in a way that is unique to the individual. While understanding the theory behind a concept is important, he believes it is equally important actually to do what you are learning about; Daniel blends modern non-traditional teaching methods with the best traditional methods have to offer.
Students with music skills have also been proven to have better attainment in school for Maths, Science and Languages; hand-eye coordination improves as a result of music education. One can benefit from these sessions alongside other tuition, benefiting their work both in school or university or their external guitar or piano lessons, for example.

About Daniel's Experience
Daniel tutors the skills needed to become a versatile modern musician, developing as a client, as well as students, and their Musicianship. These days, musicians are expected to have knowledge of technology alongside their instrument or composition skills. He believes that guiding students in these areas is important, as it helps them become self-sufficient and improved musicians.
With music more accessible and diverse than ever, Daniel encourages students to explore new genres to create something unique. After achieving a First-Class Degree with Honours in Music Composition and Technology, Daniel believes the skills he tutors benefit the student in more ways than just music. They shape a more rounded person with wider interests, knowledge and lifelong transferable skills.
Daniel knows what is needed from a modern musician and the variety of skills desired; being able to learn in a range of areas and adapt is important. He believes from experience that any student will have the opportunity to learn from a professional musician, so his students can participate in real-world projects led by Daniel — whether that involves performing, recording, or writing.
A student who specialises in any topic can also benefit from studying surrounding topics. For example, a flautist can become not only able to perform, but also to record themselves, create music, and learn music theory & software. A student can work on and complete projects, where by the end of the unit, they can have a portfolio piece to be proud of.
Daniel is experienced in the Music Industry as a Professional Composer, Producer, Live & Studio Engineer, Mix & Master Engineer and Performer (Flute and many other instruments). As an educator, Daniel also runs Workshops and Events for Education Establishments and Community Organisations, alongside creating Educational Resources.
If you are interested and would like to learn more, please get in touch with Daniel. In the first sessions, Daniel and the student will discuss their musical interests, goals, and aims, as well as the areas they wish to study.
Music tutoring is also hosted on musicteachers.co.uk & superprof.
Daniel Finch is a member of the Musicians' Union and holds a verified DBS Enhanced Check.
